District-wide student admissions system (SPMB)
One codebase serving both SD and SMP: online registration, document verification, and automated selection by zonal distance, affirmative-action and achievement paths — around 10,000 applicants ranked automatically, with WhatsApp notifications.
CONTEXT
A Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (new-student admissions) platform for a regency's public schools, covering both elementary (SD) and junior-high (SMP) levels from a single Laravel codebase differentiated by theme. Applicants register online and upload the documents required for their admission path — zonal residence, affirmative action for low-income and disability, achievement, and transfer. Placement is computed automatically from zonal-distance scores, achievement scores, age and submission time, with quotas distributed per path per school across multiple registration waves. Admins verify documents and publish results per wave, and applicants are notified over WhatsApp. A Next.js public frontend consumes a token-authenticated Laravel API.
